Floor & Wall Construction and Shielding Strategy

Galvanized Steel Panel Systems (Xalon GS22 / GS26)

Modular Shield Panels (Xalon X-Series)

• • Prefabricated RF wall panels wrapped in aluminum foil, engineered to deliver high attenuation (80–90 dB).
• • Installed between studs or over substrates with seams sealed using conductive tape.
• • Meet UL fire ratings and ICD/ICS shielding specifications.

Installation Standards

• • All systems installed per Certified TEMPEST Technical Authority (CTTA) guidance.

Alternative: Radiant Barrier Methods (e.g., Ultra-NT Barrier)

• Another method employs a foil-backed radiant barrier (e.g., Ultra NT) installed over the floor using construction adhesive (e.g., 3M Super 77) or spray adhesives.
• Overlap seams by at least 6″ and seal all joints with aluminum foil tape.
• Prepare, align, press, and roll the material into place. Seal edges with conductive tape or caulk.
• Once installed, the radiant barrier can be overlaid with standard finish materials like carpet or vinyl.
